Meerkats and me

In 2004 my wife suprised me with a visit to the Meerkat Rescue in Morongo Valley, Ca. I believe it is the only meerkat rescue in the US, and the only place you can actually interact with the meerkats. Pam Walberg is the founder, as well as the consultant for Meerkat Manor. Disney also consultanted her while working on the Lion King, and based that meerkat on one who was actually living at the rescue.
